BEHOLD OUR NEW POWER MINISTER. CAN HE DELIVER?

What had been a pending issue since the sack of the former Power minister, Prof Bert, was put to rest by President Goodluck Jonathan today as he appointed Godswill Orubebe as the new Power Minister. Reuben Abati, the president’s spokesman said this on Wednesday.
Mr Orubebe was the former minister of the Niger Delta ministry.
The president also made a minor change to his cabinet.
The president swapped the Minister of State for Power, Gauis Dickson, with the Minister of State for Niger Delta, Zainab Kuchi.
The change takes effect from next week, Abati, the president’s spokesman said.
The president is yet to give reasons for the reshuffle.Can this man be the solution to the nagging problem in our power sector?
