THE KEY POINTS IN THE THIRD AND FINAL AMERICAN PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE ON FOREIGN POLICY.

Photo: AMERICAN PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE IS ON NOW ON FOREIGN POLICY.
Two of them started very well but Obama seemed to be more opposing in his approach especially on the issue troops deployment in Iraq by referring to old comments of Romney on foreign
policy etc while Romney seemed analytical in his approach. On Syria crisis, Romney expects the United States to play a more leadership role by arming a coordinated rebel group.Obama believes America has always maintained her leadership role on Syria but does not really see a reason why the rebels should be armed. He wanted America to work more with friends in the region.in summary, two of them are still at par at the moment but Romney seems to be diverting towards the state of the economy to boost his argument.i Think that is working for him now.

It seems everyone has gone outside the foreign policy issue now by dwelling so long on economy , health, education, budget etc. Romney is taking advantage of the unbalance state of the budget on the president that seems to be reducing the American spending on the military. But Obama seems to be on an agenda of cutting the military budget so that they could focus more on other sectors of the nation.

On Israel, Obama made it clear that if Israel was attacked, America would respond immediately. That an enemy of Israel was an enemy to America. He also made his point known on the military plan on Iran which stands as the last resort. The stand of Romney was not different from Obama on the security of Israel at anytime. He also believes the military option should be the last resort on the table but he believes sanctions against Iran should be more pressing than what it is. But Obama wants a systematic sanction against Iran in which Romney feels so uncomfortable with.He believes Iran is not taking America serious in her approach against Iran having a nuclear weapon.

On Afghanistan,Romney is following the path of Obama by promising to bring back the marines by 2014 and also believes that Pakistan must not be abandoned despite the allegations against them.He also moves with Obama on the use of drones to hunt every enemy  of America but believes Americans are not seeing the adequate result they deserve under Obama on this.

On China, Obama wants China to play by the rule. He seems to be seeing China as a threat and more of America economic enemy but Romney differs on this. He wants China to be seen as a friend and not as enemy. He wants a joint work with China so that they can improve together but making sure China plays by the rule as well. But must be a friendship approach.

Closing statements
Obama reaffirms on his promises to America. building a strong military base, improve the economy, bring the job back to America, reduce deficit and listen to the people etc

Romney  promises 12M Jobs in 4yrs. building a safer world, improve economy etc.

OUR OPINION; We think both of them did well. They seem to be moving on the same vision on foreign policy. Less aggression as we saw in the first and second debate. It was a great debate in the real sense. Cool, calm, collected.
