OUR OPINION:WE SAW THE FALL AND SACK OF CHELSEA COACH,DI MATEO TWO YEARS AGO. A MUST READ!

Only few could have been surprised of the sack of the Chelsea football coach, Di mateo, after the outing blunder that brought them to the edge collapse in the Champion's league at the group stage. It was quite unacceptable for the football club after securing the long awaited champion's league trophy last season.

And for those who care to know more, this fall is not surprising for some of us who had been following the trend at the bridge for the past two seasons under the current PSG  football club, Anceloti. It became obvious under Andre Villa Boas. AVB alleged that there was a Cabal in the club especially among the so called senior players who would not allow the club to succeed as it should. They held the football club to ransom since the days of  the Brazilian coach, Scolari. They single handedly sent him out of job.This cabal seemed
to be dictating in the dressing room and on the pitch until AVB what sacked. But their fans were carried away by the results they were seeing. After all , nothing stops opposition than result. Good! so they were carried away by it.


Then Di matteo picked up the job to save the club from embarrassment. In which it succeeded by the results on paper. yea! we mean what we are saying.At least he was able to rescue Chelsea from the jaw of Napoli, taking the might of FcBarcelona off the tournament and conquer the entire europe in Germany.But some of us that knew what we saw on the pitch and their quality of play, knew that it was a failure in disguise even though some of them were ready to play the whole street of Lagos BLUE and we made our opinion known.  it  was the domestic league that showed the true state of Chelsea but nobody seemed to see it from that angle. Chelsea position fell below the Champion's league slot. If not because of the victory against Bayern Munichen. Chelsea would have ended up in the Europa league.

Well, She had the result at least. But people that  really observed the trend by which the champion's league was won especially against FcBarcelona and Bayern in the semi and  final respectively knew, that the success would be temporal and the aftermath effect of it in the days to come would be too embarrassing for all her fans all over the world to leave with.  If we remember vividly, the FIFA President,Sepp Blatter made a public statement on the final match, that if Chelsea Could win the way, then FIFA needed to sit down and do something about football.Because he believed football was supposed to be a beautiful game. It was a struggle all through from the group stage. They had to qualify in their last game against Valencia.Yet, the champion's league trophy covered these problem.

The problem of cabalism, old age of players, lack of fluidity, interference of the rich owner in the management etc have been there for a long time. But because someone somewhere needed to keep his job, all these problems had to be buried especially when there was a result that could keep every mouth muted.

Now, the problems have been finally revealed. It will be a high level of a miraculous work for Chelsea to qualify from this group. Their victory  in coming weekend match against the City is not certain-ed.Only 2 victories out last 8 matches is not acceptable to the rich owner. so where is the way out. May be Benitez will be the saving Antidote. At least it should be able to use the 50M Pounds investment.Thanks. Pls Share1
