THE TRUST ACROSS THE COMMON WEALTH FOR THE DIAMOND JUBILEE OF HER MAJESTY:THE FOLLOWINGS ARE THE 16 REPRESENTATIVES ACROSS THE GLOBE IN WHICH THE FORMER PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA, CHIEF OLUSEGUN OBASANJO WAS SELECTED AMONG.

The Diamond Jubilee is a unique moment in the history of the Commonwealth and the Realms.
Over the next year people will come together to celebrate Her Majesty's remarkable 60 year contribution to the Commonwealth and member states and realms will organise their own events to celebrate this historical event.
With the help of governments and citizens across the Commonwealth The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust is here to create a lasting tribute to Her Majesty The Queen.
In response to a call from our Trustee Chairman,
Sir John Major, Commonwealth states and Realms are nominating representatives across the globe to help us in this aim. In each of their countries these representatives will work on our behalf to:
  • provide information about the Trust to citizens and promote awareness of our work
  • encourage and support fund raising
  • keep The Trust updated on activities in their country
