4 MISTAKES OF OBASANJO BY MALLAM EL RUFAI

Mallam Elrufai in his newly launched book(The accidental public servant) listed four major errors of the former President of Nigeria, Chief, General Olusegun Obasanjo while in office as a president. He said the economic team including himself advised him on some decisions he made but the president did not yield. He said, even though, legally he might not be wrong but it is a bad ethic of a  good and accountable governance. The errors are listed below:

1. “The first was that Obasanjo borrowed money to acquire certain government assets.


2 Obasanjo’s second error in office, el-Rufai said, was the third term ambition of the ex-President, which he said was considered as a blemish for all members of the government.

3 He also faulted his former boss on the fundraising for the Obasanjo Presidential Library while in office

4. and the mistake of handing over power to persons who he said had no idea or any experience in the running of the Federal Government. This is the summary of the whole book by Mallam Elrufai. And we are yet to hear from the Rtd General's camp.
