3 women in the list of 21. This is ratio 1; 6 in favor of more of the men than the women or 14.2 % of the list.This is not to raise any gender issues here but the need for the government to understand the adequate role of women in our world of today. The trending perception that some Nigerian women abused offices and that is why we must cut them to sizes is not tenable anywhere in the world.
We still have great and
capable women across the country and abroad who will do justice to the
government. Do not tell me they did not come out. My President must go
all out, search and encourage them to join the government.
We cannot continue to hide under competency. There is something that can even get the job done faster than competency. It is called, sense of belonging. it may not be 50:50 but 3:18 is unacceptable in our modern world of today.
